“Hold on there, for just one cotton picking minute.”
Now I had a flash of ‘Laurel and Hardy” or at least a very old post ‘talkie’ era or it might have been Elmer Fudd or Daffy Duck. There was this character who said: “Hold on there, for just one cotton picking minute.”
You know I watch the mayhem, the driven hustle and bustle leading up to Christmas and I want to shout, “Hold on there, for just one cotton picking minute.”
A friend said they had gone shopping on such and such a day because they thought that no one else would have had the same idea. Guess what? Half of Yorkshire had had the same idea.
‘One cotton picking minute’ for yourself then, a cup of tea and a vision of what makes you happy. The world is then a better place for you mind, body and the stress of the season.
