Being a like a child, accepting God like a child is something beautifully explained.
“Anna saw a person in every part. Anna saw a you. Now that is something to experience, to be seen as you, clearly and definitely, with no parts hidden. Wonderful and frightening. I always understood that it was Mister God who saw you so clearly and in your entirety, but then all Anna’s efforts were directed to being like this Mister God, so perhaps the trick is catching if only you try hard enough.
Who are you?

Friends and Strangers

It takes time to get to know somebody well.

So why would it be different getting to know God?

George Guiver says that we must read about the things God has done. Talk to others who know Him well.

There’s no hurry – You have all eternity.

Regal and Knowing

What knowledge did these wise-one hold? They were given this title ‘Magi’, the root word which gives us ‘magic’ and ‘magician’ and were said to have great understanding in fields which included astrology, alchemy and other forms of esoteric knowledge.

Their identification as kings in later Christian writings is probably linked to Psalms 72:11, “May all kings fall down before him”.

So we have two views of these visitors, regal and knowledge.

Oh the we could claim the same when we draw close to visiting God.
