Encouragement

Wednesday 30 November

encourage

There is a poem written by Dorothy Law Nolte the full text can be found:
Full Version Of the Poem
If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.

If children live with hostility, they learn to fight…

If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.

If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those
about them.

If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

In our reading next Sunday from Romans you can see the same theme, Paul writes about: ‘the God of steadfastness & encouragement’.

Question: What are the possibilities for us as children of God? What one possibility will I actively pursue & pray for today?

Lord Jesus with you behind and before us we can be God steadfastness and encourage to be who you would dream us to be. Give us such grace to fulfill that vision in us. Amen
